Secured by Design for Your Home
We are delighted to share that our Jackson Windows uPVC windows and doors, manufactured in our Lincoln-based factory, have achieved Secured by Design accreditation, meeting rigorous, independently tested security standards.
Secured by Design is the official Police Crime Prevention Initiative, working to reduce crime and create safer homes and communities. This important achievement gives you even greater confidence when choosing new glazing for your home.
Our newly accredited product range includes the Liniar uPVC casement windows, Resurgence flush casement windows, tilt and turn windows, uPVC entrance doors and French doors. The certification covers a broad selection of window configurations, providing flexibility for different architectural styles and project requirements.
Head of Production at Jackson Windows, Jonathon Price, says: “Achieving Secured by Design status is a proud milestone for our entire team following months of dedicated work.”
The process involved independent product testing and certification, alongside production audits and work by our team to meet the stringent manufacturing standards. We have also undertaken training on system upgrades, with support from leading uPVC profile supplier Liniar.
Jonathon concludes: “This will be valuable for our customers, who now have access to a wide range of independently certified uPVC windows and doors. These highly secure products ensure compliance on modern projects and play an important role in building safer homes and communities across the East Midlands.”
