3: Survey
Technical Evaluation With No Surprises
Once you decide to go ahead, your project moves to our survey stage, following a two-week cooling-off period for peace of mind. One of our experienced surveyors will visit your property and take detailed measurements and technical information needed to custom-make and install your new glazing correctly. The survey is also an opportunity to identify important considerations such as property access before manufacturing begins.
For unique properties, particularly older, character and heritage-style homes and barn conversions for which customers often choose Jackson Windows, our expertise is particularly important. Our Jackson Windows teams are highly regarded as experts in handling complex and heritage projects.
5: Fabrication
Made Locally in Lincoln
Your new windows are not simply ordered and delivered to us from elsewhere. Jackson Windows manufactures its bespoke double glazed and triple glazed products locally at our Lincoln uPVC, aluminium and glass factories, where our experienced craftsmen produce made-to-measure frames for your Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire home. In-house manufacturing gives us far greater control of the process from survey to finished product, with products manufactured to, and exceeding recognised UK standards for quality and performance.
Whether you choose energy-efficient uPVC windows, contemporary aluminium bifold doors, or bespoke heritage glazing suited to a traditional property, your products are designed and crafted uniquely for your property.
6: Communication

Throughout your project, our team will keep you informed as your order progresses from survey and manufacture through to installation. Our customer care team will be regularly in touch, from giving you options for your fitting date, to confirming arrangements ahead of your scheduled installation.

Once installation is complete, we clear away installation-related waste and leave your home clean and tidy.

Jackson Windows is FENSA registered, meaning applicable replacement window and door installations comply with the latest Building Regulations. We also provide comprehensive product and installation guarantees, with many systems guaranteed for up to 10 years.
Our relationship with our customers does not end on installation day. We believe good aftercare is a crucial part of choosing a local window and door company. If you have a question or believe something needs attention after your installation, our local team is here to help.
Unlike many other glazing suppliers, we employ our own team of experienced remedial engineers. Contact us, and will assess the issue and, if needed, arrange for our remedial engineers to come out. It’s that simple!
