GGP Installer Awards Project Highlight: Best Installation – Residential Over £20,000 Category Finalist
Jackson Windows Trade installs high-performance curtain walling on residential property
We are incredibly proud that four of our projects and two employees have been selected as finalists for the 2023 GGP Installer Awards in six different categories. Each shortlisted project and colleague who has made it to the finals in Manchester will be getting a spotlight. This week we are proud to introduce our finalist in the ‘Best Installation Residential – Over £20,000’ category!
The impressive curtain walling on the property was specified by our Jackson Windows Trade team and measures 8.8m tall and 4.9m wide. Consisting of 29 fixed fields and a single door.
Our customer requested to use solely aluminum profiles for this residential property. We manufactured and installed Senior Architectural Systems curtain walling, windows, and door systems.
SF52 profile by Senior Architectural Systems combines aesthetics and performance. The profile was chosen because of its flexibility, ease of fabrication, super slim sightlines, and enhanced thermal performance.
Our customer requested that the door be mobility accessible. During the manufacturing process, we made sure that it measured 1m wide to accommodate the accessibility requirements. The door is an Igman 7016 solid panel door with 1200 mm round bar handles.
With a large amount of glazing on this property. Customers’ main concern is going to be regarding the warmer weather. Well, that is not a problem as it features SunGuard® SuperNeutralSN 70/35 advanced architectural glass. It is a neutral blue glass, offering solar protection while reducing the need for artificial light. SunGuard glass is a great option for fully glazed facades and large-frame windows like this one.
This project is a beautiful example of the high standards all our teams work to, from our designers, surveyors, to our aluminium manufacturing teams as well as our installation teams – all with the help of the outstanding support from our office teams of course.
