Flush Casement Windows Transform Historic South Lincolnshire Property

This 17th-century home in South Lincolnshire had all the charm you would expect from a historic property, but its single-glazed timber windows were no longer fit for modern living. The homeowners wanted to preserve the original character while finally gaining the warmth, security, and quality that had been missing.

Working with our design team, they selected Resurgence flush casement windows, a high-performance alternative to timber that blends period style with modern efficiency. In total, 34 flush casement uPVC windows were installed in a subtle pebble grey to complement the stonework, complete with Georgian bars and antique black monkey-tail handles for a refined heritage look. To support the transformation, we also installed durable uPVC cladding around the dormer windows, reinforcing the roofline while maintaining an authentic aesthetic.

A matching aluminium French door was added to the rear elevation, offering slim sightlines and a sleek finish that brings light and balance to the exterior. The entrance points were also upgraded with two classic composite door styles, the Stafford and the Farmhouse Square and finished internally and externally in pebble grey with antique black hardware to tie the scheme together.
