Brown Aluminium Flush Windows Transform Stone Cottage

The owners of this beautiful stone cottage, tucked away in the South Lincolnshire countryside, were looking for a window solution to retain the traditional character of their home while offering all the benefits of modern systems.

Years of exposure to the sun had caused movement in the original south-facing timber windows, prompting the search for a more durable alternative. However, maintaining the charm and appearance of the cottage was just as important as improving its performance.

Working closely with our design team, the homeowners chose flush aluminium windows finished in Nut Brown (RAL 8011), to replicate the colour and appearance of the original timber frames. Combining heritage-inspired features,  such as slim sightlines, with modern engineering, the new windows complement the character of the property while offering improved thermal performance, enhanced durability and the low-maintenance benefits of aluminium for many years to come.
